I very much know the feeling, it is a little discouraging isn't it? Though, I don't really believe the part that "you may never reach that level." With enough trying, training, practicing, it's bound to happen...

Damn, I keep looking up, this is pretty sad. Brings in a rush of emotion, this kinda reminds me of something. I can't exactly place my finger on it though...

Anyways great job in portraying this man! I can tell you feel strongly about this, I've heard somewhere that when the artist really feels compassionate toward the image, it truly turns out better. I don't think this is fail at all, though I won't like, the Jynx needs a liiiiiil work, maybe just more 3D-ness on the chest area.

I really like this, the expressions are perfect! And I'm sure you can tell, I really like the idea. I can't wait to see the PMD comic that leads to this! You've got such awesome ideas, and great twists too! Keep it up man

Heck , I went though something similar to this recently(as seen in my journal), but now after the practice and what not, I am gain satisfied with stuff.
